Gospel Journey Maui Week 5 Updates

Dear Parents,

This week we will be viewing episode 5 of GOSPEL Journey Maui and discussing the difference between religion and a relationship with God. Religion, by definition, is humanity’s attempt to ‘bind us back’ to God through works. Relationship with God, however, is the free gift of salvation offered to everyone because of Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. Take some time to explore as a family some of the ways God communicates that He is relational and desires a relationship with people.
